Ice Den Safe

Closure Notice

July 6, 2020

RDV Sportsplex suffered significant roof damage during the hailstorm that affected the area on June 24th. The extent of the damage in combination with our daily summer showers has created substantial water damage to the building.

We have partnered with an emergency rapid response team, Coastal Reconstruction Group to assess and repair our roofing system and all internal and external building damage. At the request of the response team and for the continued safety of our customers, members and team, we have made the decision to close RDV Ice Den and RDV Athletic Club until August 1st.

This decision does not come lightly, but our commitment to the safety of our Ice Den customers, Athletic Club members, and valued team members will always be our first priority.

This year has come with many challenges and we more than appreciate your continued support, patience and understanding. We will remain RDV STRONG and look forward to welcoming back our amazing RDV community as soon as possible.

Look for communication in the coming days regarding credits due to this closure.

Welcoming You Back

July 3, 2020

Our commitment to the safety and health of our customers and team members is our number one priority. As a company dedicated to building healthy communities, we know how important it is for you to have the confidence and peace of mind that you are returning to the safest environment possible.

With state restrictions lifted, we are carefully re-opening RDV Ice Den with new cleaning and safety protocols to ensure that confidence.

Protective face coverings must be worn while inside RDV Ice Den. Masks are not required while exercising and/or participating in an active sport. THANK YOU for your understanding as we adhere to these new local directives.

Out of an abundance of caution, due to an increased number of COVID-19 cases in our area, we have decided to postpone Learn to Skate and all Drop-In Skates until further notice. We apologize for the short notice and will communicate additional changes with you as soon as we are able.

We began our re-entry with limited programming and as we regroup, we plan to stick with only those programs until after the July 4th holiday when we will do a reassessment.

We apologize for the short notice and we will communicate updates as soon as we're able. Safety is at the core of all of our decisions, so thank you for understanding.
