Operational Update

May 15, 2020

We are eager to get back to work and to see skaters on the ice! Currently, we are working on our re-entry plans. This includes establishing our cleaning protocols. We don't have an opening date yet but we know that there will be a slow re-entry process with some limited programming that will grow over time. As we get comfortable with our cleaning tasks, customer social distancing, etc and can add to our schedule on the ice, we hope to pick up our skating and hockey programs where they left off!

Hopefully, we will have news of an opening date in the next few days! Please watch for emails and postings on social media and our website once it's announced.

What is going to happen to leagues that are already in progress?
Our current plan is to continue and finish those leagues that have already started. A schedule will be published once given the all clear to reopen.

What is going to happen to leagues that haven't started?
Our plan is to keep the same amount of allotted game slots (Adult League) as of right now. A schedule will be published once given the all clear to reopen. If the schedule needs to be changed, we will communicate accordingly. For the Spring Youth League, we are planning on running a shorter season. The length will be communicated once given the all clear to reopen.

What will the schedule for Learn to Play be?
Once given the all clear to reopen, we will pick up where we left off for Learn to Play. We will communicate via email when we are going to get back on the ice.

Will my freestyle sessions be extended since you were closed?
Yes, we will extend expiring freestyle sessions by the length of the time we were closed.

I am currently registered for Learn to Skate Classes
We plan on continuing our Learn to Skate session where we left off. We will communicate the new schedule via email once given the all clear to reopen.

Following local, state and federal directives, ALL OPERATIONS ARE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. We look to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our team is working hard to provide you off ice training content via our social media channels.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram as we are doing our best to post daily content to help get us all through these challenging times.

At RDV Ice Den, we work hard to build a community of people that encourage and support one another in all aspects of life. So many of you have generously asked how you can contribute to our Team Members. We’ve created a fund to make this possible.

MVP CARES FUND was started by contributions from Management and now has been opened up to our community. These funds will be given to directly to Team Members in need and will not be used for MVP/RDV business purposes.

The RDV Ice Den Community is a very tight-knitted group and we hope that all of you are doing your best to make due during these difficult times. The Ice Den has and will always be a place to have fun and be COOL. Once given the all clear to reopen, we hope to see each and every one of you!

THANK YOU for your continued support. Please stay healthy! We can’t wait to see you again!
